No wonder Dietitian makes no money. Who would trust them? We were going over probiotics to maintain good bacteria in the body after a course of antibiotics but most doctors do not prescribe these to their patients, so many people get very dangerous yeast infections.
I was sick for 3 months after a Doctor gave me some unnecessary antibiotics, and neglected to inform me to eat yogurt or take probiotics-and on the second month, if I would have had access to my father's gun, I would have shot myself in the head due to the suffering.
I asked the dietitian instructor about this and her first instinct is to say well if the doctor didn't prescribe them than they weren't needed or the doctors only worry about clearing the infection.
These dietitians are so programmed, that it isnt even funny.
Even after the peanut butter recall-this dietitian is still preaching the eating of peanut butter? Peanut butter is just fat with no nutritional value and there is no reason for Americans to ever pick up the habit of eating it.
Even Europeans can't understand why Americans eat certain things that are not only unhealthy but that they need to develop a habit and acquired taste; just to eat!

CNN's Sanjay Gupta is a fruad and racist
CNN's Sanjay Gupta sure has a habit of giving out medical advice on topics that he isn't trained in and does not qualify to be speaking on. First, that racist black baberbershop commercial that CNN is running is just laughable. It is a nothing more than an advertisement for the drug company that manufactured Lipitor, the cholesterol lowering drug, to push for inner city clinics to push up Lipitor sales and charge it to the tax payers via Medicare, SCAN, Medical or whatever else is out there. Garlic has not been over turned as a healthy alternative to helping lower cholesterol and this spot claims to the public, citing a secret test. What test? Why did the test? How long did they test? and how can one political test, to discredit a natural remedy, funded by the drug companies-over turn a proven natural healer that dates back hundreds of years? I have destroyed a chronic illness, with no known cure-simply through my knowledge of herbal medicine and natural cures. My skin started loosing pigmentation after I got out of the military. Every modern medical authority says that there is no real cure but I can pay 30,000 to a dermatologist for some treatment that really doesn't work. Well, I paid Trader Joes-12.00 for a French Herb made out of tree bark-and my pigmentation came returned in a matter of months! So, I hate what I see going on between these crook doctors, government agencies, Congress, and Pharmaceutical companies. Most of these synthetic drugs, were developed when America smuggled in Hitler's drug dealers to take the herbal base of plants and turn it into an expensive, toxic, deadly chemical. The second thing was showing the black men as dumbed down and stupid while the skinny black woman gave them advice about diet and exercise-LMAO!!?? Who they trying to fool? Black women are the most unhealthiest and obese people on the planet! Black men are the ones who are health conscience, work out and keep in shape. So-to be accurate and reflect reality about the fact that black women are dying at higher rates of diabetes, colon cancer and cholesterol, at a very speeded up rate-this commercial would have showed a typical 300lbs African American woman, eating fast food with the guys lecturing her on dietary and work out habits.

Class 2-Diet and Nutrition
I am just finding this program really boring and the field of dietitian is looking corrupt. I was creating a diet plan with the disk that came in the required reading book for the class. I had to locate the calorie count of a banana. I typed the word banana into the food search engine and banna split came back along with some foods from Arby's fast food chain!
I couldn't even find the banana as a fruit.
The CD only wanted to give me processed or fast foods!
That's wild.

My First Food & Nurtition Class
I just finished with my very first class, working towards becoming a Registered Dietitian. The first thing that stood out in my mind was the fact that the Professor kept ranting against a high protein diet and people who do not eat peanut butter. I felt that she was parroting the American Food Corporations talking points and agenda.
There are only 2 diets that helped me regulate my mood and weight-that is a low carb. diet or a vegetarian diet. I can understand simple carbs. but preaching for people to eat processed foods and sugar seemed a little absurd. Plus she is foreign, so I do not know if that had anything to do with her irrational positions.
I have read complaints about people who are vegetarians or whole food dieters, complaining that Dietitians do not understand anything beyond the Food Chart.
The class requires that we purchase a $160.00 book titled, "Nutrition Concepts and Controversies" 11th Ed. by Frances Sizer and Eleanor Whitney.
I look though the book and I noticed that there are advertisements for Kraft foods and even a McDonald egg McMuffin for breakfast! I even noticed a photo of a Little Debbie cup cake, on a food plan, in this book! It is almost like the junk food corporations, sat down and wrote this book themselves.
This seems more about pushing a profit driven agenda for the American food lobbyist than about getting people healthy.
This is my first impression and it's not a very good one thus far.
